Could current film-makers 2012 recreate P/G subject?
I'd like to see if even today's film makers, and costume artists could actually replicate the footage, and if a man in a suit could actually navigate similar terrain so naturally in a suit/costume. I don't think it could be done,,,,even today..

I absolutely agree with you and I have heard that even trying to make a costume anywhere near the excellence of Patty's natural and real body, if it were attempted, would cost a fortune, and still would not fit well unless the subject was the same size as patty. People of that size don't exactly grow on trees, plus Patty's breasts are way too natural for that to be a suit. Also, why would anyone make a female suit when you have to deal with female anatomy?NobleSavage wrote:I'd like to see if even today's film makers, and costume artists could actually replicate the footage, and if a man in a suit could actually navigate similar terrain so naturally in a suit/costume. Have you seenBill Munns work?
Bill was a good friend of mine at the BFF, and he has done extensive work thanks to his expertise in making costumes for movies, and has made a documentary about why Patty is the real deal.

Why do we need to recreate it when we have all the proof in the world it's fake... not trying to start an arguement just wish people would get over the Patterson film already

What proof? You may have reasons, but there is no "proof" If you mean Bob Heironimus, then you had better look at this.

Why? Too say that the film still can not be recreated today, using what was available in the late 60's?
How did the Egyptians build the Pyramids?
Or the Mystery of stone cutting at Puma Punku?
My answer, would be that Hollywood, would gives us a much more realistic film, stretched to 90 minutes, and charge admission!
Jurassic Park, Avatar, etc, etc.
Computer-generated imagery (CGI) !
Have you seen King Kong(2005), on Blu-ray!!!!!
Fantastic for a movie made 7yrs ago!!!!!!.
Forget the suit, not in this day & age.

I think it would be impossible to replicate the technology and skill set of the 60's
Ok if we assume, that the suit was created by Phillip Morris and his gorilla suit in 1967
The Image of Phillip's suit:
More Professional Suits of the time and earlier:
Star Trek Outfit:
Rick Baker King Kong:
Now we are to take Bobs word that a person with almost no Costume design experience was able to modify the suit so much to make Patty?

Yea what i have to say about all of it.
I seriously doubt that a suit was made. Unless They were paying a hollwood special effects person to do it.
But the fact in Star Trek the costume for the creature looked like a costume. The Hair in the supposed ape costume P/G got doesn't match from the film.
But we are expected to believe that P/G modified the costume.
~shrugs I don't buy it~

I don't think it could be done today either... Our Monsters have become more fake!!!
A while back I was watching all the Alien movies with my Nephew. He had never seen the first or second movie. He chimed in "That thing looks real!!!!" And he was right. I did not notice it before, but they did look more real in Alien and Aliens. Because they were!!! They were latex suits with prosthetic extensions and slime added. The new ones are CGI. Every new monster is becoming CGI as if we are losing our costume art.
You could make a CGI Patty no doubt.. But it would still have that "Unreal" element to it.
