Will the proven existence of Bigfoot change the world of politics, religion and our own moral and ethical views.
Some may be skeptical about the existence of Bigfoot and others think the species is roaming in many locations around the world. To others Bigfoot is more of a joke based on myths created by our early ancestors as children stories around the camp fires.
What would be the implications of such a half human and half feral creature existing, would it change our beliefs of our own creation and rock the political, religious and moral and ethical views we have developed as the dominant species on this planet?
Will proving that Bigfoot exist show we are no longer the only type of intelligent Homo sapiens that were able to survive and thrive on this planet and give us glimpse of our own humble prehistoric beginnings?

I believe such a validation will change things up for many people.
Will it change it for everyone NO.
Could the existence of a Bigfoot creature help fill in the gaps of evolution Theory?
It could also lend credible to some of the biblical stories. Or cyclops legends and others.
Such a discovery may hurt the logging business. And future building projects.
It will be shocking to many people to find out that their is an Intelligent creature that could be living in their back yards or in the forests of their states.

Wow, Damian. Each of those would deserve its own topic ~ no doubt there will be much to consider. I ponder those things, but the key lies in whether a hominid or ape is discovered. An ape will be treated as any other protected animal, but a human relation opens an entirely different set of issues.
For one thing, Sasquatch might be a type of "human" that's not very intelligent. Perhaps even violent in a primal sense. Our early ancestors' brain size (as a measure of potential) was quite small, and the spinal structure and muscles necessary to vocalize a language developed only over millions of years. It seems a lot of believers credit them with intelligence superior to ours, mainly because of their ability to hide from us. That would be wonderful in that we'd probably be able to develop some communication, but maybe it's just simple animal instinct.

Honestly I think footers overstate what the impact on most people will be. If the big feller is proven to exist, you will be super excited and find it very important. The average person will go "hmm, Bigfoot is real after all huh?" and then they will turn to the ballgame on channel 12.... It might get a water cooler mention the next day. I just don't think it will be some worldwide event that stops the world spinning or anything. ymmv
