Today there's a murderous marauder loose at Sassy's farm, Lindsay is shooting his mouth off again (but he admits it is all strictly his opinion), Uncle Phil did a breakdown of some screams at Sequoia, and MK Davis took a swing at FB/FB.

Did anybody see the MK Davis video before he took it down? Do tell!

Re Lindsay, I am keeping an open mind about whether or not Smeja took a body. After all, this whole story was uncovered when he started asking questions at a taxidermy forum. He's supposedly a professional bear hunter ~ so routinely pulling "trophies" for his clients. At the very least, it also seems implausible that a guy his age (and again, well-accustomed to client 'photo-ops') didn't have or use his cell phone to take some pics. Hmmmmmmmm... I lean toward him having a body, if indeed it actually happened (not 100% convinced).

I'd like to discuss this "
Comments from a female peer reviewer on Ketchum’s paper 9/12/2012"

Here is another interesting topic that Trolls have already ruined any chance of intellectual discussion on the blog. It came from Lindsay, so I do not whole-heartedly believe it. But if there is any truth to this, how ignorant could this woman be???

"Comments from a female peer reviewer on Ketchum’s paper. One of my commenters is friends with a man who knows a woman who is on the peer review team that is looking at Ketchum’s paper. According to the man, the woman was holding up the paper because she refused to believe that if Bigfoots were created in Ice Age SW Europe 15,000, then they could have somehow ended up in North America possibly soon afterwards.

The birth of Bigfoot would have to be somewhere in Asia, possibly Siberia or the Far East, for the Bigfoots to follow the Amerindians into the Americas. This is all based on the assumption that Bigfoots followed the Amerindians across the Bering Straight into the Americas. The Bigfoots would have had to have been in Siberia to do that. So how to the Bigfoots get from SW Europe to Siberia? To the reviewer, this made no sense, and Ketchum had no explanation for it either.

However, a recent study confirming what I had always suspected – that Europeans from 15-20,000 YBP are genetically close to Amerindians, apparently strengthens Ketchum’s case. Apparently the ancient Europeans and paleo Amerindians share a common ancestor in ancient Europe and ancient Siberia. As you can see, there is nothing wrong with the paper’s science itself apparently; instead it is questions like this that is holding up the paper."

Kel, You can check out MK Davis's You Tube site and see if it's there-Greenwave2010fb. I don't have time to look it up right now.

I have always suspected Justin took a body at least the smaller one. I also think he went back for the larger body if he didn't take it with him. I remember that Taxidermy stuff being discussed on the BFF forum. I doubt anyone asked on the polygraph if he brought the bodies back.

Re Finding Bigfoot show, they've been doing it during the time it is on EST. Which is either 9 or 10 pm. Not sure which is the correct time for the new show.

Regarding Sassy Farm, poor Fred.
Glad you're back Kel.

I admittedly don't understand the process with these research papers. First of all, shouldn't the peer reviewer be ONLY concerned with the biological make-up of the samples presented? More as "they're here" vs "how did they get here"? Secondly, the land bridge was intact for thousands of years, not only at some specific point 15,000 years ago. I highly doubt Melba pinpointed any date, and possibly doesn't address the "how" at all.

Laughing here ~ I just remembered a doctor asking my sick mother how she ever made it into his office that day. She said, "Easy, you just put one foot in front of the other."

I was watching a documentary a good one and they said that DNA proof of Bigfoot would set the science world back into shock mode, it would upend everything they thought they knew about life.

It is sad one peer could stop a paper but trust me I had doubts it'd be published in this country simply because of the powers that be and the National Park situation.

I believe with all my heart that there is so much going on in this world we do not know about and many of the powers that be do not understand that we will never know.

Like Kel said, the Land Bridge existed pre ice-age. At one point it was Tropical as we have evidence of an Asian Primate that only lived in Tropical climates and yet remains were found in the pacific North West. http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2008/03/080303-american-primate.html

But it's not even that. If Neanderthals were already in Ice Covered Europe long before Homo-Sapiens, Who is to say Sasquatch were not already in Asia and already here long before Homo-Sapiens-Sapiens? She just assumes that we were here first and then they followed us. But Being hairy, the chances are they were already in Siberia at the same time Neanderthal's were in Europe and probably in America long before any other Hominid.

bb&ubm(bolded and underlined by me)

Good point, I thought it was common knowledge. As we've discussed before, I think "we" as we know us have not been here as long as others and I'm beginning to wonder how many ice ages we've had. With recent archaeological discoveries like Gobekli-Tepe even the Smithsonian is admitting it upends the conventional view of the rise of civilization! I do suspect Bigfoot were here long before us and that will be a difficult concept for many.

Follow us: @SmithsonianMag on Twitter

I don't understand how anyone, including the peers could hold on to such ridiculous beliefs in this constantly changing era of discovery? I think Russia would love to be the first to publish the article. Dr. Sykes study, I think is going to support the DNA evidence.

I find it interesting that even his study is taking a little while, how long will it take the critics to turn on him?

Just an FYI, all of the above except the Smithsonian article is my opinion only also known as (moo) Wink

I think the paper will be published one way or the other.

Peer Review:
Well you get many people who say you have to have peer Review to be accepted. But then when the paper is accepted and others don't accept it they will say well anything can get peer reviewed and it doesn't mean anything.
This is the issue with Peer Review. If it is new Idea it is always going to get looked at and scoffed at.

The Bodies:
I believe we have bodies of the 2 Shootings. Several Reasons. Why would they leave the smaller one when they could have carried that one? If they were out bear hunting wouldn't you think they would have been able to load a bear they could a bigfoot?
The fact he went on a Taxidermy site to ask questions is what kinda surprised me was he planning on Stuffing Bigfoot?
Its also that Bobo has kinda slipped in several interviews about them possibly having the bodies or something.

I don"t think he has bodies. I can understand him being scared at first and hiding them... But look at how he is now making his rounds around the BF world... He seems to love the spotlight and does not seem to care weather or not people love him or hate him... This is his claim to fame. So if he actually had a body or two, I think he would have bragged to the world by now.

(UNLESS... Someone bought it from him long ago)

Yeah, but what the Bigfoot world will accept and the general population will be two different things. I personally think people would (will?) be horrified to learn he deliberately killed a Sas, especially a juvenile. He may as well enjoy this 15 minutes as a hero in some researcher's eyes, because he'll be the new Charles Manson if this story proves to be true.

And then there's Lindsay ~ claiming Melba was advised to treat the juvenile as "kryptonite". Good advice, if true. Which got me to thinking ~ wouldn't it just fry you to have a jerk like Lindsay push you again and again into making public statements to deny the "trial balloons" he tosses out there to bait her? It's worked. She should have ignored him from the start.

Lindsay seems to do more damage when he is ignored... I don't know if ignoring him is an option.

What I don't get is the fact Team-Tazer believes him over Ketchum.. That makes it worse.

New leak from Sykes study suggests that Sykes agrees with Ketchum that there is a new hominid in North America! A new leak from the Dr. Brian Sykes Bigfoot DNA study indicates that Sykes agrees with Dr. Melba Ketchum’s Bigfoot DNA study that there is indeed a new hominid in North America. However, Sykes disagrees with Ketchum regarding the origin of this new hominid. Since Ketchum says that she has proven the existence of the cryptid known as Bigfoot, apparently Sykes indicates that he also believes that Bigfoot exists. The leak comes from someone who appears to be close to Ketchum’s study. If this leak is correct, it’s great news for Bigfooters!

Did anyone actually get to see the video, and if it was real why did they take it down? Again another person wanting us to believe a video without letting us see it and determine ourselves.

Well David has already proven that he is in league with Ketchum.. He seems to be the only one supporting her, so Her going off of his theory makes sense.

And the one good thing about a Finding Bigfoot/TAPS merger would be the fact that we would actually get "Evidence" lol.. If TAPS does not find it, they make it. lol

By the way, I do believe that they have real footage, but the obvious fake stuff ruined it. I am sure they get heat from their producer and were forced to start fabricating evidence but still, it ruined the show for me. Sad Then Kris left (Man she was Hot)

I enjoyed the show for many years. I haven't watched in a year. Faked veidence? I never heard that and felt Jason et al were honest brokers...many episodes with no evidence. I saw solid footage maybe 3x in a few years but felt they were "not ghost first anything else second" like Moneymaker is about Squatch
