Moneymakers dialouge on almost every episode boiled down to one paragraph.
Here is a synopsis of any episode you want when they interview Moneymaker at the end of the full
team night time surveillance walk they do at the beginning of the show. (before they camp)
Matt: "We heard a sound. After **** (Insert Bobo or Cliff) did a howl, it WAS obvious there was a
noise off to the distance. However the trees and the wind made it impossible to hear EXACTLY what
it was. However I have NO doubt that it could have been a sasquatch. We hope with further investigations
we may be able to find out what the source of the noise was."
Pretty much the same dialouge every show every week

Then Bobo looks at a video and has "no doubt" that what they saw was a squatch.
(Insert cheesy music here)
And why are they always putting music or sound effects in spots where something was heard, so that we the viewer can't hear it?
And yet I keep watching. Sigh.

You know, they should be shot for the tease editing they do. Did we really think that was a Squatch in the nightvision? They are going to get thier viewers. Why tease like that? Les Stroud put it good about this show-its a typical reality show that leads you on to nothing.

Oh yeah, especially after the crap he has been saying about Ketchum. I wonder if he even realizes how Biscardi-ish he is beginning to look? Everything is a Squatch, he is hearing noises that we are not hearing, and now he put his self in the spotlight by calling out Melba Ketchum who no one outside of the Bigfoot community has even heard of. He called out Todd Standing on his show....
If her study passes and publishes, it will be his end. lol

He's got balls to tawk about other people like Ketchum while his "Finding Bigfoot" aint doing too well except in attracting people and sponsors-meaning he's just a sellout! People-like us-are getting restless and we are sick of the same <> every week. Get off your high horse, or I should say, change your bra and make it more interesting like some of us had mentioned on here.

A lot of this, though, is the upper tier of management in Animal Planet. That is how they want it and some of his creativity that he may want he might not be able to do.
Once again, upper management in a TV channel assumes too much and thinks they know everything but they dont. It's a matter of time before this explodes in their face and Animal Planet loses the show and viewers. This always happens to good TV programming.
I remember a special I had seen on some remote channel called Brilliant but Cancelled. A show that focused on great TV shows that were cancelled for no apparent reason but were hits with the audience and some actually had good ratings. This show could end up like that.
I remember them showing my favorite show growing up, The Night Stalker, and it only lasted one season for 24 episodes. The best episode was Bigfoot related with the Spanish Moss Murders which was during the 70's when my boy, Bigfoot was all the rage.

Well, there is a difference.. Those shows were actually good. lol Finding Bigfoot is one of those reality shows that is killing off the modern GOOD shows. Jericho had high ratings and that was killed off for reality. In the 90's Kindred The Embraced had huge ratings , but they canceled that after one season as well. (But in that case the main star of the show was killed in real life.) My all time favorite show as a kid was Werewolf, and when they canceled that I was so royally pissed that I started ditching church. (I heard the Christian Coalition was responsible for that.) But Finding Bigfoot is not even in the same league. It's the same crap every episode. I know they will show the foreign expeditions soon, so hopefully that will add something new.

Re: Moneymakers dialouge on almost every episode boiled down to one paragraph.
I think Finding Bigfoot needs to be designed different.
Things I like the Town Hall meetings.
Like to see more people telling their stories.
Then they should go over Some History of the Area they are in with the Bigfoot sightings.
Walking in the woods Howling and smacking trees with the camera crew and lights is getting old.
I want to see more discussions with experts More History and More Town Hall style stuff.
Where they actually Interview more people.
Not just pick the ones they like.
Looking at it Cliff and Bobo almost look Bored by the whole out in the woods. Like Oh look Matt wants to do another call again.
Matt has to use the 2 Walking Stick things really? Looks like he is going skiing.

Re: Moneymakers dialouge on almost every episode boiled down to one paragraph.
After season 4 which is supposed to air in the springtime, the show will go away since nothing will come of their "expert" investigation skills. By that time, Les "<modsnip>'" Stroud will have his Bigfoot mounted on his wall, showing up all the <modsnip> in Animal Planet on how its done to get a Bigfoot.

Show is slipping
Agree that this cannot continue. The show is making a mockery of the stories and the field work gets more ridiculous every week

Re: Moneymakers dialouge on almost every episode boiled down to one paragraph.
My big problem with the show is that I find myself cursing at Renee about every episode. If a Squatch walked up and smacked her she would say it was a bear. I swear if I had a sighting and she told me she thought it was a person or a bear with that smirky look of her's, I would probably be arrested. Now im not saying she should be like Bobo where evrything is a Sasquatch, but she is just too skeptive.

Re: Moneymakers dialouge on almost every episode boiled down to one paragraph.
This is my first post on this site and I think Finding Bigfoot is a complete joke and Matt Moneymaker should be ashamed of himself because he's nothing but a sell out. He makes a mockery of field research and what others have spent decades dedicating themselves to. Why they weren't using trail cameras since the very beginning is beyond me, but that fact alone is very telling. And using donuts, manikins and girl scouts for bait makes them all look like a bunch of morons. People want to bag on Renae for doubting everything they come up with but I respect her more than just about anyone else on that show. Cliff Barackman comes across as very level headed and I'd like to meet him. Another thing that bothers me is there investigative techniques. In season two when they were in Utah and they got a call response in a canyon which seemed very legit and did they bother to stick around that area for a bit longer and search for tracks or other sign? When they interview witnesses they never ask anyone who had a reported sighting if they searched for prints or other sign. Why is that? In the most recent episode it finally dawned on them to leave animal entrails as bait which to me makes the most sense so lets see if that try that again. Somehow I doubt they will.

Re: Moneymakers dialouge on almost every episode boiled down to one paragraph.
Yeah the show is cheesy, and their tactics are for the most part ineffective because of the camera crew and what nots. Not to say their tactics would not work if they were alone in the woods for a week or three. But here is my point...what else do we as bigfoot belivers have on TV that is based on a topic we enjoy?
So even though I know the show is cheesy and they are walking around like clowns at times ( or at least it is edited to make it look that way) Matt, Rene, Cliff, and yes EVEN Bobo have skills when it comes to hunting bigfoot off the screen during their private times, look them up...not to sure about Rene though.
If Matt has to take the bullet and look like a clown so the BFRO can generate some revenue (because the BFRO really do a decent job as a whole) which in my opinion he is doing just that, than so be it. I know they will never find a bigfoot on that show because of their camera crew posse style but man I love watching it. Me and my wife crack up and laugh when they say thier "lines" now...and bobo...c'mon bobo is funny! Its a bigfoot comedy show....that once and a while will catch a whoop or a call.

Every Episode has Bobo saying
" I am positive you saw a Bigfoot, welcome to the club"
My Question is this.
This last episode they put the GUTS out "great idea" It seemed to work.
But they couldn't even setup a proper Game Cam?
I don't believe what they said about the Game Cam.
I believe the Producers had someone in the crew go to that area. Turn the cam off and clean up the guts.
I mean it looked like the entire area was clear from the guts. What about the other spots they dumped the buckets of guts?
Where they gone as well?
Also with them having ALL those cameras they only set up 1 Game Cam? REALLY?
I will still watch the show.
But they have Jumped the Sasquatch like Ghost Hunters.
Sorry even Destination Truth has been better than Finding Bigfoot as far as properly checking an area out.
The setup a base camp and have cameras all over and then have couple go out.

Re: Moneymakers dialouge on almost every episode boiled down to one paragraph.
Animal Planet released a press release about their ratings a few days ago and Finding Bigfoot is currently one of their highest ratings shows ever. They're going to keep making it for a long, long time.
The on-screen and offscreen BF hunters on the show have almost zero control on how the episodes are edited and they've been complaining about it for a long time. Here's a 2011 article where Moneymaker and Bobo talk about how the editors screw them over and leave out their explanations in order to make the footage seem more mysterious for the viewers.
This Team Tazer 'After Hours' podcast answers a heck of a lot of questions about what's wrong with Finding Bigfoot. Tyler Bounds is one of the cameramen and general gophers for the show and he gives an extensive expose about how the show is made and how the editors back at Animal Planet butcher all the investigations to make them entertaining. It's a pretty long video but if you're wondering why the show is so goofy it'll answer pretty much every question you might have.
Here's the Bigfoot Evidence blog post about what went wrong. Poor ol' Tyler got left holding the bag again.
It's pretty annoying that their filming schedule meant that they couldn't hang around an extra night and put out more bait with a properly functioning trailcam.

That was my favourite show as well, I was devastated when the DVD release was cancelled over music copyright issues or something.Tzieth wrote:My all time favorite show as a kid was Werewolf, and when they canceled that I was so royally pissed that I started ditching church. Just to be clear: are you saying that Tyler Bounds lied about what happened or that the producers snuck in behind his back and tampered with the trailcam and the bait?

I personally figure he's just covering his own ass. "Boo hoo, I had to touch guts! And I was too lazy to properly test the cameras so we didn't get anything." Guy doesn't have a clue what he's doing from what I can see.

Think about it.
They dropped several areas of GUTS
The only put 1 Camera up? How freaking stupid.
They only went back to check the ONE spot?
The One Spot was totally clean when you watch the Show.
Sorry It just stinks like A set-up to me. To make it Ohhhhhh look something must have took it all.
Other shows have been known to set-up situations to make it look like something happened and it really didn't.
How many times can they keep going in the woods and woooping and making all this noise before people get bored?
So they need to make things happen.
