Hey, if you're new here, just let us know you're here and what you're thinking about. Don't worry what anyone's going to think about it because no one else is here. It's just you and me.

Tell me about your experiences or just ask a question. There is no question too stupid and nothing you can't say. This is an open forum and not much happens here, except that a lot of people will read it apparently because there's like 50 some odd views a day. It's likely that no one will comment and you can go ahead and say anything you want. I might comment but I won't attack you or make you wrong.

I just want to know if you have had an experience. Or maybe something that I or others want to hear about. That's why this forum is here.

So go ahead and tell me what you know because

A. I won't call you crazy

B. I will probably believe you.

Let's get some fresh new activity on here. Be the first to post and you get a free puppy! ( Not really ).

Hi paul. Hope every thing is going well with you. Don't want to sound negative, but I have a few qbservations to make. There is very little research being done on BF. All the "researchers" seem to be researching each other or Seeing who can be the best hoaxer. Is anyone actually doing "real" research out in the field. I don't mean people like Money maker who travel thousands of miles to spend a night some where and hollar and bang around and declare BF real.I know there are a lot of weekenders and I wish them luck. Unfortunately this too is not real research, But I realize that most people have time restraints with jobs etc. I know BF is real. And I know Where he lives, or used to live.. Now That I have the time and the where with all to spend a summer tracking him , my health won't allow it. BF will either be proven to be real by accident or by some one spending a lot time doing serious field work. IMHO

' Researching each other ' Ha ha. Hilarious. So true.

I'm of course being a little bit facetious with this. Yet I come here every couple of days and check for some new information and all I see are videos of hula hoop girls and car accidents. Also of course the same old hoaxing and credibility questions Ad nauseam.

It's too bad because there's been some great discussions on here. I wish I could corral everyone who has been on here to start some good threads but obviously you can't manufacture a topic when there's no inspiration to.

Thanks for the input oldtimer.

Here's my two cents on discovery (never had a sighting, live in a province with basically none): if Bigfoot is real and someone discovers it, I don't think it'll be someone like Moneymaker or, god help us, Rick Dyer who finds it. My guess is that it'll be something more like the supposed Smeja shooting incident. Someone who's out hunting, or hiking, and sees this huge creature bearing down on them, and shoots it. Mostly because Moneymaker and his ilk think they know everything about an unrecorded and unidentified species, but yet consistently fail to produce any evidence worth considering.

I agree with what you said here ravinoff.

As far as Moneymaker I'd just like to add this. I do respect his integrity and the things he has done in spite of the fear of looking like a fool and created a great database and website and inspired people to go investigating for themselves. Even though in the long run it may not necessarily be a good idea to increase the interest in 'squatching' itself. Making it more popular has probably hurt the actual seeking of evidence. ( Picture a bunch of people running around a forest doing bigfoot calls and recording bigfoot responses which are just other bigfoot researchers doing bigfoot calls answering them ).

They do play up on the fact that they have special 'insider knowledge ' and used it to their advantage but now after 3 seasons it's definitely a strike against them. After all, in the eyes of the viewers, where's the results? I don't think they thought they were going to produce much in way of evidence, I think they were all hedging their bets on maybe. It was a gamble for the producers so they tried to make it entertaining and it'll only get them so far before everyone turns on them.

I agree that the person who discovers it may be a hunter or random person in the forest at the right place and time. Maybe a Smeja. Maybe it IS Smeja if what I saw with him being interviewed with Bryan Sykes comes to anything. ( Bloody boots/DNA ).

I'm just waiting on the Bryan Sykes DNA study to come out because it'll definitely be persuasive. The fact that it's taking longer than expected could be an indicator of something.
