The Bigfoot Evidence Blog
The Blog is getting ridiculous! What is the harm in having people register to comment?
Most of these "Skeptics" are not skeptics, they are Trolls plain and simple. It is to the point where commenting there is a set-up for some Anonymous Troll to take a cheap-shot at someone and then hide behind their Anom title and slip back into the shadows.
If the point is balanced discussion Pro and Con without the need to be moderated, then that can easily be done by having commenter's register. Last time I was looking at the blog, certain words were filtered. Now I see the F-bomb dropped like never before.
But I am willing to bet that if you require people to register, then you will more than likely kill off 90% of these trolls.
The Skeptics with accounts are not really the problem. Though they do harass proponents from time to time if a topic is heated, it normally does not last long and when that does occur again, they are lashing out at Anom. proponents. and the same for account holding proponents lashing out at Anom "Skeptics".
Basically Anoms know they cannot be singled out, so they are free to attack from the shadows and ruin good topics.. why allow it?

Honestly, that is why I came to the forum. I can't stand it out there anymore. I'm all for joking around and having a good time, but jeez that is the biggest joke of the bigfoot community out there. I wish that there was some sort of membership required just for that. Some of those people post hurtful things to some people and they make the same argument/comments to each other on every post. I want nothing to do with that. It's not even entertaining anymore....

Same reason I came here. But at least certain vocabulary was filtered at the time. Now the blog actually looks worse than when I left.
Don't get me wrong, the Anom proponents are just as bad as the Anom skeptics.

Oh ya, there aren't any innocent parties there. It's both sides causing problems. I feel bad when unknowing people go there to post and get blasted. Just because they didn't realize what was going on and because those idiot posters could.
The thing that I don't get is, are the proponets really proponents/the skeptics really skeptics, or they switching sides just to stir the pot? Are the "skeptics" really proponents that are just there to veciously attack the other side because they think that is what they should be doing?
Are some of these guys bigger names in the community (i.e. Tim Fasano, Rick Dyer, Robert Lindsay) playing both sides of the ball and blasting/sticking up for themselves?
I think that there should be some form of registration for the comment section. It is beyond entertainment now. I used to like to read the comments because they use to add to the post and I enjoyed it. But , it is to the point now that even if I do have extra time, I wouldn't think of wasting my time to read those comments...

LOL It's probably all of the above. Some of these proponents/opponents are probably the same guy.
