I wanted to start a thread for those interested in reading about Sasquatch.

I was normally dropped off at the public library once or twice a week in the summertime, probably to give my dear Mother some relief, and also at my request as I loved to read.

The first book I ever read regarding Sasquatch, Sasquatch: The Apes Among Us, by John Green. I still find it to be my favorite book on the subject, although some others appeal in different way to me.

I would like to get some recommendations from the board, regarding new or old books related to BF, and have already ordered the Missing 411, on the advice of another member here.

Thanks in Advance! Wink

Hi Noble, my suggestion is 'Bigfoot- The Yeti and Sasquatch in myth and reality' by (Prof.) John Napier, published in u.k. by Jonathan Cape 1972 and Abacus\Sphere Books 1976. (Sorry, don't know u.s. publishers.) A very good read, enjoy.

Any other members here that have read some Sasquatch literature they'd care to reference?

The two that I just finished are really good technical books with a forensic artist in tow to interview witnesses. One is the Hoopa Project and then the sister
book Tribal Bigfoot, both by David Paulides. They are just a TAD dry written by a former professional law enforcement officer. Its written in a report format
so no suspenseful passages just witness reports, locations and then the artists version of the witness conception. WHats amazing about the books is the drawings.
They look more like native peoples than ape like creatures. ALL of them look like a Native American only 10 feet tall!
I am open for other suggestions. More oriented in the science format.

Has anyone read Raincoast Sasquatch or something to that effect? I've heard that book is pretty good.

I had a BF book that my father bought me, it was being sold at the Patterson movie back in the70's, but I don't remember the name off hand. It was pretty good, but mainly full of stories. I have it in storage somewhere. When I find it I will post the name. Does anyone remember it? elephant
