I would like to start a thread with Stories, Lore of the connections between Sasquatch and Native American Populations.

Found this one think its a good start since it includes the talk of the Hairy Man of Native American Lore.

I was over at “Bigfoot Evidence” this morning and found a story that my friend and site owner Shawn had dug up. Shawn has a knack for coming up with obscure stories of interest regarding Bigfoot.

i love the Native American perspective on Bigfoot. I’m currently reading the Hoopa Project and finding alot about the region and native peoples thoughts and stories on Bigfoot, I previous didn’t know and have been to the area many times. As i read and find interested points, I will post them.

Great Topic. David Paulides books on The Hoopa Project and Tribal Bigfoot center around the First Nations and the American Big Foot. Its amazing how much the sightings look like an old Native American. Much more than an ape looking creature.
Also Look at JC Johnsons four Corners website and the relationship there with our First Nations People and Bigfoot. TONS of Native American stories there
I forget the name of the sight, but look up JC Johnson on youtube. He has a ton of video about this topic

Native American's and Sasquatch Hoopa-project-bigfoot-encounters-in-california-paperback-cover-art

After reading the majority of the book, it becomes evident that the eye witness sightings are some of the most compelling, I’ve ever read. The sketch artist composite truly encompasses the sighting, allowing the reader to really grasp the witness’s true account. It would be nice if other web-sites with a sighting database also had sketches to accompany eye witness report.
I believe the eyewitness reports are given less of the : “is bigfoot real pie” if you will. The eyewitness statement and attention to detail is overwhelming at times, where I had to put the book down and register what they saw and felt. It’s human nature to be skeptical, but the relentless wave of credible eyewitness reports even without *scientific data is very compelling and cannot be ignored.

*data has been extracted from uncontaminated sources, but a.) there is no bigfoot database b.) the results always comeback as unknown c.) based off statements made in this book and elsewhere if the scientific community were to expect this creature, the revenue aspect of the forest- would change and protection of this creature would ensue, causing catsotrophic consequences for all companies/agencies that reap the $benefits$ of the forest and wooded areas.

Most the native tribes of USA, and Canada have great stories of Sasquatch,Hairyman, etc, they have the utmost respect for them, as most consider them another tribe, that just live in the forest. There are some great books out there, Henery Franzoni is a guy who has done many years of study and work with different tribes and has learned alot from them..
