I am 53 years old, a retired scientist and a Porsche Enthusiast. I am a member of probably 20 some odd car forums gun forum ete. etc. The only one I EVER got banned from was BIGFOOTFORUMS.com for just disagreeing with one of their EXPERTS and asking about the NDA.
I know that wont happen here! I look forward to CONTRIBUTING here without getting banned!!
Thanks and I look forward to meeting many of you. I live right in the foot hills of the Eastern Sierras and that shouldbe pretty squatchy!!!!!

No no encounters yet although my kids (in their 20s) were out fliming stuff for a production company in the Desert and I went to help and one of the kids took out a Chewbacca costume (they knew about my interest in BF ) and pulled the joke of the year. For 30 seconds I was completely stunned. The costume was good (hairy gloves and feet) and he came up behind me about a 100 yards away from where we were filming. I was stunned.
BuT I am starting hiking in the Mammoth lakes area.

Just got back from Mammoth. Camped for 8 days. No luck, but back in 2001 I had a radical vocalization and that is what got me started! We have a second home in Independence, so we also hike up above Onion Valley and Golden Trout Wilderness. Smile
